About Stella’s Restaurant and Wine Bar
A new culinary destination is open at 94 Lafayette St (Former home to Red Lulu & Strega) that will delight oenophiles: Stella's Restaurant and Wine Bar is now hiring and plans to serve over 200 wines from all over the world. The brainchild of Peter Mikedis, Stella's will be a welcome addition to the North Shore dining and drinking scene.
Meet our Executive Chef: Patrick Lord
Born and raised in New England Chef Lord holds a degree in Finance from the University of Oregon. After spending years in the finance industry Chef Lord realized his true passion was cooking, which led him to The California Culinary Academy. Chef Lord continued his education with an externship in Paris, France. Receiving high accolades as one of the top chefs in Denver, Colorado while working for Wolfgang Puck, and received the award for Best of Show at The Taste of Colorado.
His love for seafood, and Homestyle New England Cooking with a Mediterranean influence brought him back to New England. After a stint with Legal Sea Foods he spent years working at several famous restaurants on the Cape & Islands. Patrick then gained great banquet experience working at Towne Stove & Spirits, Stephanie’s Restaurant Group, BNEG in the Seaport at The Grand.. Chef Patrick now brings his vast knowledge and expertise to Stella’s Restaurant & Wine Bar. When not in the kitchen you can find Patrick at the beach or the Golf course.
